Must have a clean driving licence with D1 Entitlement, be over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes), be flexible with working hours and a good knowledge of the Leeds/Wakefield area is desirable. 

Salary: £6.70 per hour

Hours: Approximately 10 per week or as needed

THE SIGNPOST PROJECT

Young People and Family Support Workers

(sessional hours up to 40 hours per month, mainly evening & weekend work)

 

£10 per hour

 

Signpost Project works with young people aged 9 to 14 in the South and East Leeds who are involved in anti social behaviour, or at risk of entering the criminal justice system.  We are looking to recruit Support Workers to work with young people and their families.  The role involves one to one work and group work activities with young people to promote positive choices and lifestyles.  Support Workers will work alongside full-time staff in supporting parents/carers and developing strategies for tackling anti social behaviour.

Signpost Project is a partnership between Leeds City Council and South Leeds Health For All and the posts will be hosted by South Leeds Health For All.
